    A few more points on this.... I got the spark of this idea back when @helloracefans used to do the Cheat Sheets for televised BC challenge races. I'd look back 10 years to see how favs performed as a way to provide some context for the race... challenge.breederscup.com/travers-cheat-sheet

      This made me want to dig deeper into the recent history of the race to see what, if any, patterns emerged. But digging into all the PDFs & manually gathering data was insurmountable, especially given all the data & eventual insight that can be gleaned from charts

          And then last year @robinhowlett rolled out a simple chart parser, making it relatively easy to digitize chart data. And just like that something that was never going to happen became a reality! github.com/robinhowlett/chart-parser
