1. I spent the last week converting the old Omnisurface Stars Wordpress blog to an @eleven_ty site. I didn't bring the posts over, just the datasets that were embedded google sheets. Converted those to json files & now it's fast, responsive & more accessible omnisurface-stars.com/

   It's nice to give the project a sustainable home, especially since it was a labor of love for a few of us... @railbird @RacingHistory and I were the site maintainers w/plenty of submissions from @FilliesFirst @o_crunk & Alan Heitner (sp?).

   Not to be corny, but the site also represents the pre-ABR era of digital racing/Twitter & IMO that's something worth preserving. It's also a reminder of an enjoyable era, at least for me! I'll be writing up the project & a bit abt creating the json files & data tables at my site.

   Finally finished the post about creating the JSON files and data tables for this project. Didn't think it would end up taking this long, but if you want to find a bunch of things to fix in a project, just start writing an article about it! danabyerly.com/articles/responsive-and-accessible-data-tables/
